Egypt: Cairo bomb blast kills nine during police raid
At least nine people, including six policemen, have been killed in a bomb explosion during a raid on a militant hideout in the Egyptian capital, Cairo. More than 13 others were injured, including the local police chief. Security sources say the blast went off as officers raided an apartment in Giza, near the Pyramids.

The Defense Ministry on Friday morning ordered security forces to remove dozens of Jews from a pair of Hebron buildings said to have been abandoned and then purchased legally from their original Palestinian owner. The Jewish settlers initially refused to voluntarily evacuate the premises, and security forces began to forcibly remove them, according to Channel 2.
