The New York Times just published its first front-page editorial since 1920 — and it's slamming gun violence in America
For the first time since 1920, The New York Times has published an op-ed on its front page. The editorial titled, "The Gun Epidemic," takes aim at gun control in the US, a topic that has frequently become front-of-mind, amid a sharp rise in high-profile mass shootings over the past several years.  
Buffalo lack of snow record broken
A record that dates back 116 years has been broken for the city of Buffalo, New York, according to the Associated Press. A lack of snowfall has caused the record to fall. The National Weather Service says that Friday marks the latest date without measurable snow. It was back in 1899 that at least a tenth of an inch arrived on December 3.  
Two new suspects sought in Paris attacks
Police are seeking two new suspects accused of aiding the fugitive suspect from the Paris attacks Salah Abdeslam, the Belgian prosecutor's office says. The pair are "armed and dangerous" and are thought to have helped Abdeslam travel to Hungary in September.
